How do I schedule transportation?


Transportation can be scheduled by calling 410.814.5000, faxing us a trip request (download a pdf here), emailing us at info@yoursaferide.com or filling out our online Request Form.

What are your standard hours of operation?

Our office is open, with reservationists available, 24 hours a day 7 days a week to assist you. Our fleet operates Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:00AM - 5:00PM with additional service available upon request as needed including Saturdays.

How far in advance do I need to schedule transportation?


In order to maintain reliable service, we require 24-hour notice. If you have a last-minute need for transportation, please call 410.814.5000 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you offer transportation for stretchers?


We can provide stretcher transportation upon request. Please contact us for pricing.

Do you offer door-to-door service?

Yes. We offer full door-to-door service to meet all of your needs.

How long will I have to wait for my driver to return after my appointment?

We do everything we can to ensure that you are picked up in a timely manner. Saferide uses a “Will Call” return procedure to ensure minimum wait time.

What type of vehicles do you use?

Saferide’s fleet includes:

  • Mini-van
How are the rates structured?

All rates are based on zones originating from Baltimore City expanding outward from there. For more information on rates, please see our RATES & SERVICES page.

Do you allow a companion?

Yes, we allow one companion at no additonal charge. Companions must be picked up at the same address as the patient. Minors may not be considered a companion.

How do I cancel a ride?


Trips must be cancelled before the driver arrives at the pick up address. Otherwise, the trip is considered complete. Cancellations can be made to 410.814.5000.
